Warranty
- All products are new, unused and covered by a minimum 12 month manufaturers warranty (unless otherwise specified)
- Some products may have manufacturers warranties of greater than or less than twelve months, depending upon the product and its intended longevity.
Delivery
- Local deliveries, installation and demonstration of specialist products (e.g. Mobility scooters) can be arranged by one of our specialist advisors. Please contact the showroom if you require this service to check availability and coverage
- We aim to dispatch all in-stock items within one business day of your order. For larger items of those items not currently held in stock, delivery may be a little longer while we await dispatch from the manufacturer. Where delays occur in the delivery process we will endeavour to contact you within one business day of your order to advise of an estimated delivery date
- All items on this site are INCLUSIVE of Postage and Packaging. The price you see is the price you pay for the item described (includes mainland UK only)
- We use a range of postal and courier services to dispatch goods where required. Customers are required to be present to receive and sign for deliveries. Where a delivery signature is given, customers are also certifying that the item received is in suitable condition and that no damage has been sustained to either the product or its packaging during transit. Access Mobility cannot be held responsible for claims of damage once the item has been signed for to confirm its condition unless it is recorded by the courier at the time of delivery. Failure to comply with the above means Access Mobility cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred with repair or replacing items damaged in transit
Payment
- Access mobility requires all goods paid for in full prior to dispatch
- We are able to accept orders on-line via the website, via post (payment via cheque or postal order – please do not send cash in the post!), via telephone or in person via our showroom. Forms of payment accepted are all major credit and debit cards, cheques, postal orders and cash. Please make any cheques payable to Access Mobility Limited
- All prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices that are eligible for VAT exclusion are shown excluding VAT, hence the price you see is the price you pay. There are no hidden charges.
Cancellation / Returns
- Your statutory rights are not affected when purchasing from Access Mobility. When ordering online, we fully comply with the distance selling regulations and offer all customers a seven day 'cooling off' period during which time orders can be cancelled without penalty
- Outside of the cooling off period, cancellations are at the discretion of Access Mobility. We would normally cancel orders prior to dispatch without penalty. However, in exceptional circumstances (e.g. for items dispatched direct from a manufacturer) there may be some penalty involved in order cancellation
- Should you wish to return any item (irrespective of the method or purchase), we kindly request that you telephone the showroom to obtain a returns authorisation number, and enclose this number when returning the item to us. For larger items (e.g. electronic wheelchairs) or for customers who cannot return items for any other reasons (e.g. mobility problems), please contact the showroom to arrange collection. There may be a charge for this service in some circumstances
- All goods returned (unless faulty) must be returned in their original condition and in the original packaging. It must also include all supplementary materials (e.g. manuals, tools etc) included with the product. Failure to comply may lead to your return being rejected
- Some products are excluded from return unless faulty. Such items include (but are not limited to) commodes, toileting products, incontinence products, mattresses etc. Please contact the showroom if you are unsure of a products eligibility for return
